Use and service guidance

Maintain responsible service-use boundaries

Review content rights, network use, credentials and reporting, and confirm the service boundaries in the applicable agreement.

Overview

Delivery and security should be considered alongside content provenance, authorization and responsible network use. This guide helps prepare those discussions.

This guide explains usage boundaries and does not replace the agreed service contract or applicable requirements.

01

Confirm rights to process and distribute content

Establish domain control, content provenance and distribution permission before onboarding. Business processes must handle user uploads, expiring permissions and withdrawals; cache settings alone are insufficient.

02

Avoid unauthorized network activity

Do not use services for unauthorized attacks, credential theft, malicious-file distribution or disruption of other systems. Define the authorized targets, scope and timing of any test activity.

03

Manage access and resource use

Give configuration staff appropriate access, protect credentials and understand plan limits. Confirm capabilities and support scope before unusual traffic, bulk operations or major releases.

04

Keep a clear issue-handling path

Preserve necessary evidence and report suspected abuse through the official contact channel. Verification, restrictions and restoration depend on the facts and the applicable agreement.
