Overview
Learners need smooth viewing alongside correct course access and progress records. Design media delivery and account state separately, then validate them together.
This is an architectural planning example, not a customer case study, a delivered project or a promise of performance gains.
Define course access boundaries
The application determines viewing rights before using the supported media authorization method. Login state, purchases and progress must not be treated as shared static content.
Validate video and subtitles together
Check quality levels, subtitle tracks and manifests. Confirm the capability, cost and scope of transcoding, subtitle generation or rights licensing separately when needed.
Test real learning actions
Test startup, seeking, pause and resume, network changes and authorization expiry. A player opening successfully does not establish that an entire lesson can be completed.
Connect reports to media versions
Record the course, media version, playback position and device environment. Remove learner identity details before sharing logs, and use evidence to separate file, authorization, player and delivery failures.
