Overview
For a European audience, consider important countries, actual access networks and retention requirements together. A regional name is a starting point, not a substitute for confirming locations and delivery paths.
This is a regional evaluation guide, not a list of active storage facilities or CDN nodes. Available regions, processing arrangements and service conditions need confirmation before integration.
Build samples around your actual markets
Observe important countries, mobile networks and fixed networks separately before deciding whether one source location can serve the workload.
- Record first reads, repeat reads and errors for principal markets.
- Test large transfers separately from small page assets.
- Check peak periods and cold requests after publishing updates.
Document data locations and responsibilities
Personal information and permission to replicate require assessment against actual business requirements. Edge-cache locations and long-term storage locations are different concepts.
Classify content
Distinguish public assets, account-related files and restricted media, with separate permissions and retention.
Map processing
Record locations and service providers involved in primary storage, copies, logs and support.
Deletion and recovery
Define replica cleanup and backup retention and review them against the agreed data-management requirements.
Validate a limited rollout before expanding
Trial representative assets and audience regions while keeping the original publishing path and rollback plan. Do not remove the previous source before migration is verified.
| Stage | Acceptance focus |
|---|---|
| Pilot | Addresses, certificates, permissions and matching content |
| Expansion | Cross-market performance, cold reads and peak behavior |
| Steady operation | Cost, cleanup, logs and recovery exercises |
