Overview
Community resources change across many authors. Delivery needs provenance and content-management processes alongside performance.
This is an architectural planning example, not a customer case study, a delivered project or a promise of performance gains.
Separate uploads from distribution
Apply business-side permission, format and required content checks before publishing files. CDN caching does not replace moderation or malicious-file detection.
Track versions across author updates
Use distinct version paths and record size, update and checksum information. Coordinate withdrawal across indexes and delivery caches rather than deleting an index while leaving the link usable indefinitely.
Separate public and restricted content
Public downloads, member resources and temporary shares need different access policies. Check authorization and cache boundaries so requests with different permissions cannot reuse content incorrectly.
Provide a content-reporting path
Provide a verifiable reporting route for missing files, wrong versions and suspected rights issues. Collect exact URLs, times and descriptions, and base handling on verification and service scope.
